Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes, within scope, timeline, budget, and quality constraints. The Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project requirements, establish project plans, manage risks, monitor progress, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
● Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and clients.
● Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets, and monitor project progress against plans, making adjustments as needed.
● Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
● Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks to project success.
● Monitor project budgets and financials, ensuring that projects are delivered within approved budgets and financial constraints.
● Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress updates to project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
● Track and report on project progress, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure that project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
● Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction, setting expectations, and resolving conflicts to ensure high team performance.
● Ensure that project changes and scope creep are properly managed through change control processes.
● Drive quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
● Collaborate with procurement, vendors, and subcontractors to manage external dependencies and ensure timely delivery of project components.
● Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, and use feedback to continuously improve project management practices.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes.
● Project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications, is preferred.
● Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to eectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients at all levels of the organization.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project risks and issues proactively.
● Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools.
● Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
● Ability to build and maintain eective relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients, and foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage project documentation and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
