Job Summary:

Responsible for facilitating the agile development process and ensuring that the Scrum team follows Scrum practices and principles to deliver high-quality software products. The Scrum Master will have the responsibility of communication, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. The Scrum Master shall also work closely with the product owner and development team to ensure that the Scrum process is adhered to and that the team continuously improves its processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

●  Facilitate the Scrum process by organizing and leading Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, and ensuring that they are executed eectively.

●  Coach and mentor the Scrum team on Scrum practices and principles, and guide them in adopting agile methodologies and best practices.

●  Ensure that the Scrum team follows the agreed-upon Scrum process, including the use of Scrum artifacts, such as the product backlog, sprint backlog, and increment.

●  Collaborate with the product owner to groom and prioritize the product backlog, and facilitate discussions between the product owner and the development team to clarify requirements and ensure a shared understanding of the product backlog items.

●  Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the progress of the Scrum team, and facilitate solutions to resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the development process.

●  Help the Scrum team in estimating and planning work for upcoming sprints, and track progress against sprint goals and commitments.

●  Monitor and communicate the team’s progress and metrics to stakeholders, and report on the team’s performance, progress, and impediments to management and other relevant parties.

●  Foster a collaborative and empowered team environment, promoting eective communication, shared ownership, and continuous improvement.

●  Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance team productivity, eciency, and quality.

●  Stay up-to-date with agile methodologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into the Scrum team’s practices.

Qualifications:

●  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

●  Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certifications.

●  Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a track record of successfully

facilitating agile development teams and delivering software products using

Scrum methodologies.

●  Strong understanding of Scrum framework, principles, and practices, as well as

other agile methodologies.

●  Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to

eectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and management at

all levels of the organization.

●  Ability to coach and mentor team members on agile practices and principles, and

facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts and issues.

●  Familiarity with software development practices, including coding, testing, and

deployment processes.

●  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and

address impediments that hinder team performance.

●  Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and adapt to changing

priorities and requirements.

●  Experience with agile tools and software, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.

● Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders, and foster a positive team culture.
