Business Analysis
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications to support the development, implementation, and improvement of business processes and systems. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and other relevant parties to gather, analyze, and document business needs, identify areas for process improvement, and propose solutions to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with business stakeholders, including users, managers, and executives, to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
● Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement, streamline operations, and enhance sciencies. ● Create and maintain detailed documentation, such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories, to ensure clear understanding of business needs and solution requirements.
● Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
● Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current state and desired future state, and develop recommendations for addressing gaps. ● Collaborate with technology teams, including developers, architects, and testers, to provide guidance on solution design, validate technical feasibility, and support the development and implementation of solutions.
● Participate in testing activities, including creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free from defects.
● Provide post-implementation support, including user training, issue resolution, and ongoing monitoring of solution performance to ensure that it meets business needs and objectives.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and process improvement, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into the organization’s practices.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of successful project delivery.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to eectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
● Solid understanding of business analysis techniques, methodologies, and best practices, such as requirements elicitation, process modeling, and solution validation.
● Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and experience working in cross-functional teams.
● Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling tools, data flow diagrams, use case diagrams, and prototyping tools.
● Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain eective working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
